“The most important sanctuary on Majorca. It ogfers a few resraurants and bars and a ship with souvenits. Tranquil atmosphere. It is worth visiting the museum which shows historical artefacts from Majorca going back to pre historic times. On a warm day the temperature in the building is pleasant. We paid 8 Eur on topnof the price of the parking ticket of another 8 Eur. See the little botanical garden.”
“A perfect place for nature lovers and solo travellers – I don't understand the negative reviews. I absolutely do not understand the negative opinions about this hotel. I have the impression that some guests don't really realise where they are going and what to expect. Location: a HUGE plus. Situated in the mountains with access to hiking trails heading both west and east, away from any housing developments. There are only 2 restaurants nearby, a café, and a souvenir shop. Further on, there is a campsite and one more restaurant. It is close to nature! Check-in and check-out process: I have no complaints. Botanical garden and the Basilica: The garden is small, but lovely and open to hotel guests. The Basilica (I am not a believer myself) – the scent of old wood and the silence inside is an experience, even for a non-religious person. A big plus. The hills: The hills surrounding the hotel with a cross at the top. A perfect spot for a day off from hiking, you can be up there in 5 minutes and admire the views from above. The rooms: I received a single room, even though I booked a double through my holiday website. I’m not sure why, but I didn't ask to change it since I was alone. I checked the bedding and mattress for bedbugs and found nothing – which is the most important thing for me when I travel. The rooms are simple but tidy and clean. You can see it’s a converted monastery, ideal for solo travelers. The only downside was a chair with dirty upholstery. I would have preferred a simple metal or plastic chair, but cleaner. The walls are quite thin, so comfort depends on whether other guests realize where they are. DON'T COME HERE TO PARTY AND GET DRUNK, this is not the place for you, and you will ruin it for others. During my 5-day stay, someone tried to clean the room once. I only asked for a fresh towel. If you absolutely need your room cleaned and your sheets changed every day on holiday, you should reconsider your choice. Breakfast: Breakfast is served in a restaurant that could be rated separately. It was standard: sweet and savoury options. I don’t know what people who write "monotonous" expect. At home, do you also have a choice of 3 types of bread, 3 cheeses, 5 types of cold cuts, eggs, 6 kinds of fruit, 4 pastries, 3 types of porridge, 3 juices, and 2 kinds of milk, including gluten-free options? :D For me, that is not monotonous. The coffee is average; I've had better, but it's passable. Nie rozumiem negatywnych opinii. To miejsce jest świetne dla ludzi szukających ciszy i natury. Plusy: Lokalizacja w górach z dala od zgiełku, dostęp do szlaków, piękny ogród i bazylika. Pokoje proste, ale czyste (sprawdziłem łóżko - zero robactwa!). Śniadania naprawdę bogate - nie rozumiem narzekań. Wzgórze z krzyżem tuż obok. Minusy: Cienkie ściany i krzesło z brudną tapicerką. Ale to drobnostki. Podsumowanie: Jeśli szukacie spokoju i górskich widoków - będziecie zachwyceni. Jeśli chcecie imprezować - jedźcie gdzie indziej.”
“Rooms basic but large and clean. Comfy beds, great shower. Food is decent. Overall, great value. A good base for hiking and cycling. Will definitely come back.”
“We visited Santuari de Lluc and found it to be a really peaceful and calming place. Set in the mountains, the surroundings are beautiful and feel quite special. The monastery itself is lovely to walk around, with a quiet, reflective atmosphere that makes it a nice change from the busier tourist spots. The basilica is well worth seeing, and the whole area has a sense of history and tranquillity. A lovely place to pause, take in the scenery, and just slow down for a while.”
“Amazing place, both to visit and to have stayed for the night. Can't recall ever having visited a monastery with this many facilities (Swimming pool! Botanic garden! Cafe! Restaurant! Say what?) , rooms were spacious and the view from the top of the hill was gorgeous and tranquil. Would highly recommend, what a beautiful location! Also great starting point for hiking trails in the area.”
